EclipseVPN does not collect any Personally Identifiable Information (any representation of information that permits the identity of an individual to whom the information applies to be reasonably inferred by either direct or indirect means), other than the information you may voluntarily provide in connection with obtaining and during technical support sessions (“Customer Support Information”).
2. Selling or Transferring of Technical Information or Customer Support Information
We will not sell or transfer to third parties the Technical Information nor the Customer Support Information obtained in the course of your utilization of the Application and/or technical support sessions.
1. Technical Information Collected by EclipseVPN
We do not monitor nor collect the identity of any user of the Application (an “App User”) and do not have the ability to determine the identity of any App User. Any data (including Technical Information) that is gathered by our automated systems is anonymized and/or aggregated and utilized for the purpose of maintaining, evaluating, and improving the functionality and performance of the Application. We do not sell nor transfer any of this data to any third parties.
We may aggregate and/or anonymize all information that we collect from you, including, without limitation, Technical Information, and use such information for the purpose of conducting research, improving and troubleshooting the Application.
2. Customer Support Information Collected by EclipseVPN
Starting with EclipseVPN v3.0.0, EclipseVPN offers users the ability to report problems and/or request technical support. This feature is completely voluntary. Users may choose to report a problem using the Application user interface, furthermore, a user may opt to upload the Application Bug Report to the Support Team for further analysis. Any data uploaded to the Support Team is displayed on the user interface allowing inspection by the user prior to authorizing the upload. Users may further opt to provide contact information for follow up communications. All Customer Support Information is discarded after completion of the support session. We do not sell or transfer any of his data to any third parties.
3. Security & Retention
Security: EclipseVPN takes reasonable technical and organizational precautions to protect the confidentiality, security and integrity of your Technical Information and Customer Support Information. Although we use security measures to help protect your Technical Information against loss, misuse or unauthorized disclosure, we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to us over the Internet. There is no guarantee that information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.
Retention: We maintain non-personalized anonymized and aggregated Technical Information statistics. All Customer Support contact information is discarded after the end of the support session.
